Practice For Our Overall Storyboards
By Nicole Russell
By making a draft trailer for our genre of horror helped improve our understanding of the overall plot. Although we are choosing to keep the shots in the bath as there is no effective reason to remove them. However we are changing and re filming a great deal of our trailer such as the luring and instead of having a strong male protagonist, we have decided to have a female instead, allowing one of the villains to be able to seductively persuade him into the chamber of torturous vampires. I looked through the trailer and reminded myself on what the shots referred to with a very brief analysis of why we chose to use that specific shot. This will help us with our overall storyboard as it allows us to revise the shots and remind ourselves of why we did them. I also decided to add the titles on only the most significant shots, which will help improve the most important ideas and shots that we intend to use and add them to our drawn and written storyboard.
